Most animated movies
are created to provide moral lessons to the viewers – of all ages. But Mr.
Peabody and Sherman don’t just to that. This movie still has lots of moral
values, but they also feature history lessons.
I’ve grown to hate
history subjects because they are super boring, but this animated movie turns
that upside down. It was able to teach me history with fun, which make it one
of the greatest animated movies that I’ve seen. It manages to teach me things I
was not aware of about world history.
The plot of Mr.
Peabody and Sherman is quirky. It is about a genius dog Mr. Peabody who adopted
a young boy named Sherman. Mr. Peabody was a great parent and a great teacher
as well. He teaches History to Sherman in a very cool way, using the Time
Machine he invented. But something went wrong when Sherman becomes a stubborn
kid. This brings their adventure in a whole new level.
I can’t say anything
bad about this movie because it was really great. I hope that History teachers
can somehow include this in their lesson plan to give a twist in their teaching
method.
